Steinway & Sons P300 2.1 surround sound processor from Steinway Lyngdorf is built for the demanding connoisseur, who requires the ultimate performance in immersive formats as well as stereo. With the new state-of-the-art HDMI and decoder boards, the P300 2.1 pass-through 4K-60Hz video with full decoding of 16 native channels and support of up to 256 speakers – all with RoomPerfect™ room correction and intelligent bass management.
State-of-the-art HDMI processing
For large theaters and clients with access to first-run content, the P300 2.1 offers two optional input boards, an AES3 or an AES67 board, allowing seamless integration with DCI-compliant processors and servers. For these connoisseurs, multiple P300 processors may be stacked together allowing one to map out up to 64 channels of native decoding making it compliant with any commercial cinema specification.
The P300 2.1 offers full support for all immersive sound formats such as Dolby Atmos®, DTS:X, and AURO-3D®, as well as 8K and 3D video, HDCP 2.3, and advanced HDMI switching. The P300 2.1 features full HDMI matrix functionality between the five HDMI inputs and two outputs, and this new masterpiece now supports the HDMI 2.1 including features eARC, Dynamic Lip-Sync as well as the latest decoding and post-processing formats. The P300 2.1 supports 40 Gbps fixed rate link (FRL) and 18 Gbps transition minimized differential signaling (TMDS) video rates. It also supports Variable refresh rate (VRR), Quick Frame Transport (or Fast Vactive), and auto low latency mode (ALLM) support and high dynamic range (HDR) metadata passthrough for HDMI dynamic HDR, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision™.
