MODEL M FEATURED AT STEINWAY & SONS BEVERLY HILLS SHOWROOM
At the grand opening event for a new Steinway & Sons piano gallery in Beverly Hills, California, the Steinway Lyngdorf Model M system helped entertain an energetic crowd of music lovers and artists, including singer-songwriter Randy Newman and world-renowned Steinway Artist Lang Lang. The new gallery, a flagship Beverly Hills showroom for the famed piano maker, features a comfortable seating area equipped with a semi in-wall high gloss Model M system and LS-R212 woofers. In this area, guests were entertained by beautiful piano music replayed to perfection on the Steinway Lyngdorf system.
During the event, Lang Lang performed on a one-of-a-kind Steinway & Sons Fibonacci Model D art case piano, which was being previewed for guests prior to its official unveling in June. The piano is the 600,000th piano manufactured by Steinway. It’s veneer features the iconic Fibonacci spiral made entirely from six individual logs of Macassar Ebony, creating a fluid design that represents the geometric harmony found in nature. The evening marked a special opportunity for attendees to experience both Steinway Lyngdorf and Steinway & Sons products—a combination featuring the ultimate in artistry, design, and technology.
